GAHA was established in 1965 by a group of women who recognized a need in the community for assistance to the elderly in activities of daily living.

Home Health Care Program

Our RN-supervised and Certified Aides provide all the following care:

  • Assistance With Personal Care Bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, exercises , health related tasks and treatments
  • Assistance with medications
  • Short-Term Care Assistance with daily activities following an illness or hospitalization
  • Meal Preparation
  • Shopping & Errands
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Respite Care

For eligible persons, the fee may be partially or fully offset by private insurance or other funding sources.
